Crafting your Identity

In order to become something new, something brand new, you have to become the new identity.

You hear of famous celebrities, singers and actors, doing their performances on stage, they step into a new identity, they become a different person.

Look at your favorite actor in tv shows or movies and see their behavior in a real life interview.

They embody the character they are acting for. They start to subconsciously pick up the qualities that their desired result is supposed to be.

Your brain’s has Mirror Neurons that allow you to copy and change who you are. “Monkey see Monkey Do” Your type of clothes often determine our mood and how you feel, with the type of music you listen to also doing the same. The people you hang around also determine who you are and what you like..

Stepping into a new identity; start to think of what that type of person does, how they act. How they talk and what they do.

For example, Saying I am a 4.0 student. Start to ask yourself what a 4.0 student does. They read books and learn, they attend class and pick up information. They meet with the teacher after class.

Your actions determine what you are going to do so when looking at your identity and beliefs start looking at what the type of person does those types of things.

Your brains have a reticular activating system that allow us to find out what you are searching for

When telling your brain what you are searching for your brain will start noticing things along the path of what you are looking at

Things that have always been there will now appear in blank sight

An example of this is when a new car is bought. You will start seeing the same car over and over again because your mind has awareness of the car and now notice that the car that was frequently bought.

In the same way when you embody a new identity it will become your natural identity

  • The identity that you embody will start picking up and noticing things that appear in plain sight and will lead you to your success.
  • Going to buy books or looking online for searching
  • You will notice that everything was exactly like you were searching for it and start noticing it in plain sight

Start off by Making a List of Things You Want in Life

You can have everything you want in life, if you are willing to

1. Believe
2. Be Patient
3. Work at it

You can have everything in Life all it takes is Time. Guess what, Time is Money, so as you continue to grow everything will grow along with it.

Things come when the body is at peace, when the body is stressed out or out of align the signals to receive what you are asking for is completely off.

Counteracting this comes from the 555 Method

Write 5 things in the morning that you are grateful for
Write 5 things at night that you accomplished
5 minutes of Destress | journaling | speaking whatever is on your mind

By Celebrating the wins, this allows you to feel good about the accomplishes and leads you to wake up refreshed and desiring to continue to grow even more than before!
