You will find something more in woods than in books. Trees and stones will teach you that which you can never learn from masters.
- St. Bernard

Trees are a vast collection of knowledge. They are waiting for us to listen to their stories and learn all they have to give. Do we have the ears to listen to the philosophies they want to teach us?

A Tree Plants its Roots Deep: Have a Solid Foundation

We live in a time of constant change. A society that swings from trends to trends, but underneath the root of who we are and how we fit into the bigger picture of things matters.

The most successful people in this world are true to who they are, what they believe in and what they stand for. There will always be people that are able rally behind you, people of all ways of life that we can touch. Become strong in our sense of truth and that truth will guide you and help those who are similar to people just like you.

A Tree needs Good Nutrients to Grow

Like a tree it needs to be nurtured as a seedling first before it can stand high and tall bearing the heavy storms of the world. We in the same way need to be able to have proper nutrients to grow.

What needs to be fed?

Our mind with books. Books provide knowledge and wisdom that come from years of research and experience others to teach us.

Our bodies with proper foods and exercise to keep us healthy. Our bodies need to sweat to flush out the toxins that accumulate with stress. Exercising and a proper diet helps with that.

Our Spirit. Our Spirit helps guides us in life. The intuition and gut feeling needs to be fed with spiritual text / meditation to help us be more attuned to what the life purpose we are meant to live on this world.

A Tree Provides Shelter and Bears Fruit

We are called to be providers and give to others. In the Bible when there was a fig tree that would not bare fruit Jesus cursed the fig tree. We in the same way need to bare fruit and prove shelter.

What does this mean?

This means helping others and giving back to the community with your knowledge and capabilities. Everyone is different and everyone has something to learn from others. Put yourself out there and the audience will come. Provide Shelter and people will give back

A Tree is Constant no matter the weather

Often times we are so distracted with the world around us that we lose ourselves and what we are doing.

Theses distractions caused by stress, people, the environment.

A tree must weather the storm no matter the season, dry season or summer time people will always give their opinions and there will always be someone trying to bring you down.

A tree does not change because of it’s external circumstances, it adapts.

A Tree cannot bear Fruit in the Right Environment

Be careful with the environment we place ourselves in

If the environment is toxic how can we bear fruit and grow.

A tree that does not have access to enough sunlight, water, and nutrients will lose its way in life

We in the same way need to place ourselves in environments that play into our strengths

A Tree waits for timing

Often times as humans we try to force things with our own hopes and desires

We put our own will into things but at the end of the day it doesn’t work out.

Why?

The timing might be off or we might not be ready yet

We can try every little things and it doesn’t work.

Don’t quit!!

Constancy plays out in the end when we cannot see every little day process

A Tree Sees and Hears Everything

A tree will always have people’s trust. It seen many things in it’s lifetime from their age, yet they do not talk.

They have all your secrets and will guard them closely.

Be that with people. If people want to open up to you.

Make sure that we are trusting and that we can hold secrets for them
